The Department, with a character that is dynamic, cutting edge and busy, has a 22 bed inpatient unit and sees 78,000 outpatient visits annually. Call is 1:5. There is an academic component to the position. Emphasis on Substance Abuse is a plus to complement the skill sets already in place. No adolescents. Compensation for 1800 annual clinical hours as a hospital employee is $160,000 +, DOE, and also entails an RVU based bonus system that can bring as much as $30,000 additionally per annum.
