We have full time and part time posts available. Full time = 14 weeks on/ 7 weeks off with return assignments. Part time = Fill In assignments 4 to 8 weeks in length 3 or 4 times a year. We are currently accepting applications for Doctors with experience in Emergency Room, Family Medicine, and/or Internal Medicine, who have extensive Acute Medical Care experience with practical experience running ACLS protocols. The Ship Physician on-board one of our magnificent ships is responsible for the administration of the Medical Center, providing emergency care to a ship population of 2,500 to 3,000 guests and crew members. Physicians live on-board the ship for the duration of their contract and spouses may live on board once the probationary period is successfully completed. We require a minimum of 5 years clinical experience, the ability to diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions as well the ability to perform minor surgery such as suturing, removal of benign skin lesions, removal of foreign objects and identification of and immobilizing simple fractures, along with impeccable interpersonal communication skills.
