The PracticeMyrtle Street Obstetrics & Gynecology, PC seeks a Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN who shares in the group philosophy of providing exceptional, compassionate care and support to women of all ages. This well-regarded practice, established in 1971, includes Charles Lasky, MD, Amy Knoeller, MD, Carolyn Slatch, MD, Amos Cutler, MD and Katja Bock, MD and three midlevel providers, Kelly Goldenberg, CNM, Theresa Jones-Kingman, NP and Ruthann Aurentz, NP. The group plans expansion with its primary office located at 59 Myrtle Street, across from Saratoga Hospital, where the providers are members of the medical staff. Myrtle Street Obstetrics & Gynecology, PC offers the full spectrum of services including an AIUM certified ultrasound department with 4-D capability, first trimester genetic screening with nuchal lucency measurement, ISCD certified bone densitometry and osteoporosis counseling, in-office endometrial ablation, preconception and infertility counseling, high-risk pregnancy care, in-office phlebotomy and laboratory services, and childbirth education classes. Physicians within the practice are credentialed to perform minimally invasive da Vinci Robotic surgery which is offered at Saratoga Hospital. Providers utilize a full electronic medical record system with remote access capability.The compensation package for this position includes a competitive salary. Other members of the hospital obstetrics and gynecology staff include Womens Cancer Care Associates, LLC: Daniel Kredentser, MD, Patrick Timmons, MD, and Timothy McElrath, MD, gynecologic oncologists, who are available for consultations and surgical assistance. The hospitals OB/GYN staff enjoys collegial relationships in and outside of the hospital. Physicians in groups share in surgical assisting. Scott Dexter, MD, Albany Medical Center Maternal Fetal Medicine, is available for high risk consultations. In August 2007, the hospital signed an agreement to purchase a vacated 140-acre horse farm approximately 12 miles south of Saratoga Springs in Malta and has submitted plans for approval by the Town for a Planned Development District (PDD) to build a medical park.
