ThedaCare is committed to expanding psychiatric care to the communities it serves. Sixty employed mental health professionals provide counseling through its psychiatric program. As part of an ongoing effort, ThedaCare wishes to add another outpatient physician. The outpatient physician will see new patients, perform evaluations and provide medication checks. Work within ThedaCare Behavioral Healths Alzheimer Center of Excellence. See patients 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Share call 1:4, Monday through Thursday and 1:6 on the weekends. ThedaCare On-Call, a 24-hour RN-staffed triage call center, triages all calls, in addition to ThedaCare Behavioral Health clinicians. Physicians off Mondays following call weekends. Nursing home care opportunity. Adult psychiatrists may perform ECTsThe group consists of three adult psychiatrists, one adult psychiatric hospitalist, two nurse practitioners, one neuropsychologist, one medical social worker, and 50 Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselors.ThedaCare has a 14-bed adult unit that is covered by a hospitalist Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The inpatient physician covers consults at Theda Clark Medical Center and Appleton Medical Center during the week, and on-call physicians cover on weekends. The two hospitals are about 20 minutes apart.Support staff includes a practice manager, RNs, receptionists, billing personnel, medical records and transcriptionists. Human resources, information technology, electronic medical records, and marketing are a part of the integrated health system.

Immediate Need for Geriatric Psychiatrist - SE Houston, TX!

Bayshore Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC psychiatrist to open a new 22 bed geriatric unit near the campus of the hospital. The candidate will need to have either experience or formal training with geriatric patients. The majority of the work is IP, but there will be some OP work as well.Bayshore will offer financial assistance with a competitive salary and relocation dollars.

Psychiatrist with geriatric certification or experience interacting with nursing home patients needed to join collegial medical staff in this state-of-the-art facility. You will cover the geriatric service line which is comprised of an 18-bed male unit and a 14-bed female unit. Enjoy a full-time schedule of just 37.5 hours per week and no call required. Should you elect to participate in the call rotation, you will be compensated.2.5 hours to Chicago and 1.5 hours to Indianapolis.
