We currently have 3 Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists and 1 Geneticist in the department and have a large enough volume to support three more. The Center has a large maternal referral base from 80 counties and five states. With approximately 4,500 deliveries a year, many patients have significant high risk maternal and/or fetal problems. The labor and delivery unit at the Regional Medical Center has 15 LDR rooms as well as the capacity for ICU care. This 792 bed acute care not-for-profit health system just 32 minutes from NY City is seeking a BE/BC Maternal & Fetal Medicine physician to join them as an employed physician. The system now has three (3) M&FM physicians practicing and five (5) M&FM techs working in the testing center. (The testing center is seeing some 12K visits each year and growing). All of the doctors work in clinic and do in-house consults. There is no night call and weekend call is 1:4 largely phone on-call. The OB service is a busy one having on average 3,700 births per year and growing. This will be a mixture of faculty practice and clinic work. The hospital is truly a state-of-the art teaching hospital and has the largest NICU in NJ (25 intermediate bassinets and 25 intensive bassinets.This is an employed position with a faculty appointment. M&FM Opportunity 1 Hour South of DC!

This 412 bed not-for profit hospital is seeking an additional BE/BC Maternal and Fetal Medicine physician to join their busy service. The M&FM program provides testing and consults to a growing population and over 30 Ob/Gyns. (The M&FM physicians are not doing deliveries) The M7FM service has clinic hours Monday through Friday 8-4:30. No one is working call or holidays. On average the physicians are seeing 26 in-patient consults and an average for outpatient consults of 183 per month. They are doing, on average 888 procedures per month in the clinic and the hospital is seeing in excess of 4,000 births and knows that number is growing. The clinic is staffed with nurses, sonographers, office manager, receptionists, M&FM physician and a genetics counselor. This is an employed position and you will enjoy an excellent income and bonus plus full benefits, including of course malpractice insurance and relocation.The hospital is part of a two hospital health system and has over 300 physicians on the active staff. The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and has one of the most active ERs in the region seeing in excess of 90K visits.
