Community Medicine Associates, Inc. (CMA) in San Antonio, TX, is a not-for-profit physician organization sponsored by the University Health System, presently staffing seven community health centers in San Antonio, TX. CMA is currently seeking a board-eligible or certified Family Physician or Internist to provide comprehensive primary care services to residents of Bexar County. CMA provides a wide range of ambulatory family medicine services including: acute care, women and children´s health, prenatal care, geriatrics, preventative care, and adult medicine. The practice is strictly based in ambulatory clinics. Physicians will enjoy a 40 hour work week, light on-call duty (by phone only) with evening and Saturday clinic hours an average of one to four times per month. Requirements: Must have completed training in an ACGME approved and accredited residency program. Completion of residency program in excess of 36 months from the time of graduation from medical school must be fully explained in writing. All incumbents will be expected to be board certified in their specialty or be eligible for board certification (must become certified within one year of employment). Must possess current license to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Must maintain current ACLS certification. Must maintain DEA and DPS numbers. Must follow rules/regulations as set forth by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners Medical Practice Act.
